About Jan Moore
Welcome to my world of art, the things I've seen and the places I've experienced. I am an artist, living on the central coast of California, who enjoys painting and photography. I retired from California State University, Bakersfield, in 2001, after 27 years of service. My husband and I began traveling in 2003, and I began my career in the arts on November 1, 2010. I have spent the last few years developing my style; taking workshops under a few outstanding plein air artists; and continuing to visualize great scenes for painting. My husband, two daughters and four grandchildren will be the focus of my life until the day I die. By this focus and the grace of God, I hope to master the arts in my lifetime. Such a pristine canal scene with no gondolas. Very clean image, and the flowers and window boxes add such charm. We know that Venice is sinking, but it is strange to see doorways open to the water, even if people travel by boat. Extremely interesting capture. f/v and pinned.
